Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform flash storage based 3D NAND systems design, analysis, integration and verification from product definition and planning through production and release
  • For examples:
    • Analyzing product level read/write requirements to come up with 3D NAND system level design features to meet product requirements. 
    • Design the system features to handle NAND defects.
    • Write specifications and create flows for firmware team for new system design features.
    • Test bench validation for the system flow designed on actual drives using state of art 3D memories.
• Responsible for flash system level behavior characterizations
• Create Python scripts to do big data analysis done for NAND characterization
• Provide feedbacks on new 3D NAND system features for next generation memory developments

Qualifications

ELIGIBIITY: 

• Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering and graduating May/June 2024 or Solid-State Physics with minimum 2 years of experience. Master's candidates are preferred
• Position is expected to be hybrid, working primarily onsite (3 days a week) in our Milpitas, CA location
• Relocation can be offered for this position

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of NAND flash is a plus
• Knowledge of programming in high level languages (e.g. C, C++, Python) is a plus
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to read and comprehend complex technical specifications
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong team player who can collaborate with colleagues
