Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform flash storage based 3D NAND systems design, analysis, integration and verification from product definition and planning through production and release
- For examples:
- Analyzing product level read/write requirements to come up with 3D NAND system level design features to meet product requirements.
- Design the system features to handle NAND defects.
- Write specifications and create flows for firmware team for new system design features.
- Test bench validation for the system flow designed on actual drives using state of art 3D memories.
- For examples:
- Responsible for flash system level behavior characterizations
- Create Python scripts to do big data analysis done for NAND characterization
- Provide feedbacks on new 3D NAND system features for next generation memory developments
Qualifications
ELIGIBIITY:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering and graduating May/June 2024 or Solid-State Physics with minimum 2 years of experience. Master's candidates are preferred
- Position is expected to be hybrid, working primarily onsite (3 days a week) in our Milpitas, CA location
- Relocation can be offered for this position
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of NAND flash is a plus
- Knowledge of programming in high level languages (e.g. C, C++, Python) is a plus
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and comprehend complex technical specifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong team player who can collaborate with colleagues
