Facility Maintenance
Position Summary:
Responsible for maintaining lobby, offices and general school cleanliness, while compliant with federal and state guidelines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Ability to follow directions of the Campus Director as well as management staff in accordance with assigned work duties and daily/weekly checklists.
· Follow all safety standards and training guidelines
· Maintain and secure doors/entrances as instructed
· Keep building, furniture, equipment, and school property, as well as outside grounds to an acceptable level of cleanliness.
· Maintain and operate equipment, such as floor buffers, mops and vacuums to achieve acceptable level of cleanliness.
· Discarding trash and/or boxes, empting trash receptacles daily
· Submit list of cleaning items as well as needed supplies in a timely manner
· Make minor repairs as needed
· Assemble items and small equipment
· Report to Management or Director any needed repairs and/or safety concerns
· Maintenance care for custodial equipment and instruction for proper usage
· Ability to independently arrange and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs
· Must be able to perform outside labor to include, but not limited to minimal up keep of school grounds
· Ability to maintain prolonged standing/walking as shifts require
· Willingness to assist with physical lifting as requested/needed
· To perform other duties as assigned
· Regular and reliable attendance
Skills/Competencies/Qualifications:
· Possesses High School Diploma or equivalent
· Possesses relevant extensive experience in facilities maintenance
· Recognizes and solves problems
Classification: non exempt
Work Hours: This is a part time position averaging approximately 25-30 hours per month
Travel: none
Working Environment: Interior/Office, some outdoors
