Greenhouse is looking for a Senior Product Manager, ML/AI to join our team!
Joining our tight-knit Product team, you'll help our customers hire better. As we continue to expand Greenhouse's product offerings, your role will be important to ensure success throughout the company – from brainstorming ideas with the team to guiding new solutions through the development process. You’ll keep projects on track and drive real change in how we work. The machine learning group is a small, but growing team that is scaling to satisfy our growing customer base — you'll make a big impact here!
As the first ML/AI focused Product Manager at Greenhouse you’ll be responsible for setting the vision of how we leverage machine learning within our product suite. This will include leading our Data Products team to improve and iterate on existing data products, driving process improvement and best practices, and partnering cross-functionally with the broader Product and R&D team to make a meaningful impact.

What you’ll do
- Build ML/AI driven solutions for complex problems related to our Recruiting product, and lead them from conceptualization to release
- Work closely with our R&D team to identify blockers and make decisions about how new functionality should behave
- Regularly conduct customer discovery interviews with customers and prospects to identify user pain points
- Help create new processes that streamline the Greenhouse product development lifecycle as we grow
- QA new features before they're released
- Prioritize projects and bugs
- Engage with the broader company on feature development
- Contribute to the public product roadmap and serve as a visible member of the Product team for our customers and partners
You should have
- Experience in product managing complex problems
- Empathy – listen, influence, and build positive relationships internally and with our customers
- Excellent project management skills; capable of breaking large, thorny problems into small, manageable tasks
- The ability to quickly switch between problems and tasks — being comfortable with interruptions
- Technical Experience with Data Science and ML/AI – you don't need to have engineering experience, but you can hold your own with our engineers
- Experience evaluating the ethical and/or adverse impact of algorithmic solutions, a plus
- Experience identifying opportunities and risks with model optimization, a plus

The national pay range for this role is $118,000 - $187,000. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local cost of labor.
