The Opportunity:
CACI, is currently recruiting a Human Resources Analyst, to join our team at Fort Belvoir, VA to support our Army Project Management Office. As a Human Resources (HR) Analyst you will use your understanding of government civilian human resources to support the PM in the areas of confidential personnel records, Military personnel actions. information systems and automation support in- and out-processing, awards, position requirements documents, recruitment, training administration, leave, and other administrative services. Manpower Information Retrieval and Reporting system (MIRARS).
Responsibilities:
Personnel Systems and Data Management: • Proficiently utilize standard automated systems including IPPS-A, DCPDS, FASCLASS, and ATAAPS • Review bi-weekly ATAAPS reports to ensure accurate attendance tracking • Update and maintain Military Personnel Records • Manage ATAAPS (Automated Time Attendance and Production System)
Recruitment and Onboarding: • Research and prepare position requirements descriptions • Schedule interviews and prepare interview packets • Conduct in-processing and out-processing for Military personnel
Performance Management and Recognition: • Prepare and process employee evaluations and corresponding records • Review, process, and finalize Military and Civilian awards • Process all Military Awards
Training and Development: • Manage the organization's training program • Monitor and track mandatory training completion
Leave and Time Management: • Process leave requests efficiently
Administrative Support: • Coordinate with supported unit HR/administrative personnel • Draft HR and/or administrative policies • Handle customer inquiries professionally via telephone, MS Teams, and email
Communication and Reporting: • Conduct effective briefings on HR topics to organization leadership • Prepare and present reports as required
General: • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HR best practices and regulations • Stay updated on relevant HR policies, procedures, and laws • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
Required:
• BA/BS degree in related field required.
• At least ten (10) years of experience in Government Human Resources field.
• A master’s degree or higher, in a related field, may be substituted for 5 years of experience.
Active Secret clearance required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HR-specific software
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of military and civilian HR processes and regulations
