Job title: Inside Sales
Pay: Starting at $28 to $32 an hour, Depending on experience + Commission
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm
Location: Rochester, Washington
The Inside Sales Person executes all aspects of our sales call process and strategies, facilitating and coordinating business activities of accounts and executing PARR sales initiatives. Their primary focus is on prospecting of new residential and commercial contractors, facilitating and coordinating business activities of accounts and executing PARR sales initiatives.
Interacts daily with Location Managers and both internal and external customers. Interacts regularly with corporate employees (Central Purchasing Department, Account Management Team, and IT Department). Also interacts regularly with vendor representatives and industry associates.
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of personal computers & applications
- Keyboarding at minimum of 30 wpm
- Ten-key by touch
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Prior experience in sales and building material industry preferred
- Most have reliable transportation
- Knowledge of windows and related inventory
- Ability to achieve competitive sales goals and objectives
- Ability to prioritize work and manage time effectively
- Knowledge of PARR's selling principles, purchasing principles, practices, and protocols
- Ability to pursue company's best interest when selling to customers
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to daily changing needs/demands of PARR and PARR's customers
- Ability to speak, write, and read English required
Duties and Responsibilities
- Set and meet personal sales and profit goals
- Key player in the maintenance of assigned accounts ensuring account profitability as well as customer satisfaction & loyalty
- Acquire new sales and accounts
- Ability to sell on overall quality and service
- Coordinate with other division sales managers and salespeople to broaden sales to existing customers
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers
- Precisely and efficiently manage one's time and appointments
- Use, promote & maintain PARR Sales System tools & requirements
- Be involved & prepared for weekly individual and group sales meetings
- Respond to customer complaints and concerns
- Continually update product knowledge and selling techniques
- Assist walk-in customers at point-of-sale
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Physical Requirements
This position works in an office environment at a desk with a computer. The primary working hours are Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm.
- Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stoop, bend, walk, and effectively communicate at levels normal for someone performing work with the general public
