Responsibilities
IDEMIA, the global leader in ID & payment manufacturing located in Rancho Dominguez, CA, is looking to add a Maintenance Mechanic to join our growing Maintenance team
Shift: Saturday - Tuesday (Saturday alternates): 6:00pm - 6:00am
Position Overview: The Maintenance Technician will perform service, corrective maintenance, and routine preventive maintenance on a variety of electro-mechanical card and mail processing equipment. Train with maintenance technician team to learn the correct process in which to service machines and support production needs.
Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical repairs on the machinery.
- Perform corrective maintenance on the machinery.
- Rebuild/repair mechanical modules and assemblies.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on the machinery which includes lubrication and cleaning of air filters.
- Adhere to the procedures outlined in the technical Support Maintenance Procedure.
- Communicate pertinent information to the Technical Services Manager/Supervisor, Technicians, and Production Staff.
- Adhere to ISO 9001 specifications and requirements.
Qualifications
- Must possess a strong mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills.
- Must be able to service equipment in an accurate and timely manner.
- Requires standing and walking, exerting up to 75lbs of lifting, carrying, pulling or otherwise moving objects on occasion.
