Role Purpose

You would be joining a fast-paced, dynamic, global Inside Sales team, helping to build strong relationships with clients, exceed sales targets, and contribute to the overall success and growth of our company by embedding our solutions into existing and new customers and taking responsibility for developing our strategic client relationships.
Main Responsibilities
Once trained, you will:
- Proactively manage and maximise the commercial growth of a junior portfolio of renewal clients.
- Successfully identify key stakeholders within your customers who present the best opportunity for growth.
- Develop a deeper understanding of the energy markets and the value Wood Mackenzie data & analytic services provide our clients.
- Represent Wood Mackenzie in the market and expand brand recognition.
- Attend all Research & Sales Operations-led “knowledge share” sessions and report key market and product updates to Financial Sales Team.
- Liaise with more senior colleagues to develop sales strategies and new markets for growth.
- Produce analysis for Regional Sales Leadership on sales trends by customer-type, geography, and product type.
- Compile customer portal usage reports and present findings on a weekly basis
- Maintain and improve CRM data quality – conducting a broad range of tasks within Salesforce.
- Assist with contract generation and modification.
- Provide troubleshooting assistance for customer invoicing issues and account setup statuses.
- Effectively manage junior renewal portfolio opportunity pipeline to ensure accurate salesforce forecasting.
Qualifications
About You
You will:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree from reputable university
- Have an interest in selling and the world of sales.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
- Have the ability to develop relationships & collaborate.
- Possess a proven track record of success both within education and the workplace.
- Have an intellectual curiosity and aptitude towards the growing fields of data and data analytics and how these tools help clients solve business critical issues.
- Show effective organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage own workload effectively.
- Have an ability to learn new commodity markets quickly by applying a firm understanding of fundamental economic concepts.
- Be passionate about growing the business and have a genuine interest in developing and growing yourself.
- Although not essential, a second language would also be desirable.

- During your Sales apprenticeship, you will be expected to:
- Build your understanding of sales excellence within an account management and / or business development environment.
- Develop your knowledge and experience by contributing to the success of the team and sales pipeline.
- Enhance your development by increasing your contribution to the sales pipeline, opening, and closing sales opportunities.
- We are a hybrid working company and the successful applicant will be expected to be physically present in the office at least 3 days per week to foster and contribute to a collaborative environment, but this may be subject to change in the future.
- The nature of this role precludes it from consideration for part-time or flexible working arrangements.
