+$3,000 Sign-on Bonus payable in (3) installments, initial installment of $1,000 payable upon hire
+$17.50 Starting hourly rate

Job Description
Position Summary:
The Packaging Machine/Equipment Operator II position is responsible for the safe operation, and preventative maintenance of high-speed packaging equipment in order to produce finished product in accordance with quality, productivity and safety specifications.
Job Duties:
- Operate high speed packaging equipment.
- Make all necessary machine adjustments to consistently produce finished goods within quality specifications at or above productivity targets while tracking downtime and machine issues.
- Perform efficient set-ups, changeovers, and start-ups.
- Coordinate/communicate troubleshooting efforts with team members, supervision, quality assurance, and maintenance.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks as required and directed.
- Maintain appropriate levels of correct materials on the line at all times.
- Ensure proper labeling and identification of all materials, components, and finished goods.
- Perform all quality checks and consistently uphold high quality standards.
- Read and follow procedures, standards, and recipes to set proper programming for weighing and counting mechanisms within each machine.
- Utilize scales, labelers, printers, tapers, dumpers, ladders, and electric pallet jacks.
- Complete all necessary documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
- Understand all safety hazards and follow all safety rules and precautions.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.
- Complete all required daily and weekly cleaning tasks as prescribed.
Other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED, preferred but not required.
- 1+ yrs. Experience of machine operation experience, required.
- Willing to work assigned shift with some overtime including weekends
- Must be self-motivated, a strong team player, and able to work with a minimum of supervision.
- Must be able to troubleshoot machine issues.
- Must have good communication skills.
