The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

1What Is the Opportunity?
This role will support the Payments & Billing Transformation initiative focusing on functional and operational processes. Review payment & billing systems for customers and agents in an effort to transition to Guidewire technology.Under general supervision, provide leadership for multiple business/strategic/platform initiatives with an ability to influence direction based on strong operational perspective. For complaint handling, provide support and direction on resolving complex and sensitive scenarios Interaction with Leadership delivering high level reviews of any given initiative and recommendations on how to proceed. Build and maintain strong partnerships across the organization with areas including Underwriting, State Product and Legal to review and resolve customer issues.
What Will You Do?
- Develop and implement workflow solutions and/or alternatives based upon business needs
- Review, research, collect data and analyze information determine the impact on all operations and offer recommendations and solutions based on analysis
- Lead SMEs in assessing impact to workflows, procedures and reference materials
- Key contact for Product with ongoing initiatives e.g. ITV
- Serves as subject matter expert for Market Conduct Exams and Corporate Audits assisting with validation of file reviews and providing critical information to aid the review process
- Leads functional area discussions of change initiatives and their impact on Business Center job families
- Works with Product organization in assigned states to ensure State Rate/Product and Guideline changes are communicated to Business Center staff with appropriate training
- Leads discussion on workflow solutions and/or alternatives if business needs are required due to system constraints (automation)
- Effectively interact and lead and coordinate discussions with multiple levels of the organization; summarizing situations and articulating possible solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
- May be asked to lead, more complex change initiatives, special projects and train, develop and mentor new and existing staff
- Will be required to become certified in Guidewire Billing Center
- Other duties as assigned by manager
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
College Degree or equivalent experience relevant to the business.
Property & Casualty business insurance billing experience
Guidewire billing center experience
Process mapping in Visio or Aris
3 years experience with insurance business, products and procedures required.
Effective listening skills.
Capable of displaying excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Knowledge and expertise in the use of a variety of systems and PC software.
Developing project management, organizational and resource management skills.
Ability to perform sound research and analytical skills.
Display of proven customer service orientation.
Working knowledge of the Property Casualty business, products, procedures.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong and developing negotiating skills.
