In this position, you will leverage advanced process control, AI, and IoT 5.0 technologies to drive digital transformation and operational excellence within the manufacturing industry.

 

What You Will Be Doing

 

Here’s an overview of your responsibilities and how you can leverage your expertise:

  • Lead, inspire, and guide a small team of advanced process control (APC) professionals, fostering a culture aligned with ANDRITZ core values.
  • Establish clear objectives, monitor progress, and ensure the successful execution of APC projects within budget and timeline constraints.
  • Develop training sessions for new process control engineers and provide mentorship and professional development opportunities.
  • Oversee end-to-end management of APC projects, coordinating efforts to deliver maximum value to our customers.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, aligning APC goals with customer needs and broader business objectives.
  • Formulate and execute APC strategies customized for the Pulp & Paper industry, offering technical guidance on complex process control challenges.
  • Ensure team adherence to industry regulations, safety standards, customer requirements, and the ANDRITZ Quality Management System.
  • Collaborate with team members and subject matter experts to develop comprehensive training programs for process and automation experts.
  • Implement training programs in line with industry best practices and organizational needs, measuring individual and team performance and providing constructive feedback.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and produce presentations and reports as required to communicate project status and results effectively.

What We’re Looking For

 

When selecting candidates, we will be looking for the following:

  • A bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, preferably in Industrial Technology / Automation or Electrical Engineering. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of six (6) years’ experience in process control and automation
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ project management experience
  • Strong knowledge of Pulp & Paper industrial processes
  • Proven leadership experience and team management skills
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Strong understanding of industry regulations, safety standards, and quality management systems
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for data analysis and process control; programming experience with DCS (Distributed Control Systems)
