Salary: $105,000 - $144,000 annually

Larson Automotive Group is searching for a proven Automotive Controller to take command of our accounting operations and strengthen the financial backbone of our dealership group.

This role goes beyond managing numbers—it’s about building people, shaping processes, and driving performance. Your leadership will ensure that our dealerships not only meet financial standards but excel beyond them.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver accurate and timely monthly financial statements that meet dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Analyze financial results and provide executive-level insights that drive strategic decisions.
• Oversee all reconciliations: manufacturer statements, warranty claims, incentives, rebates, floor plan, and receivables.
• Manage cash flow, contracts in transit, and receivables to ensure strong financial health.
• Own the general ledger, schedules, and compliance with internal controls.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 20–22 administrative professionals (including 3 supervisors).
• Partner with department heads and executive leadership to align financial strategy with operational goals.

What You Bring

• Proven success as an Automotive Accounting Manager or Controller.
• Expertise in dealership accounting, manufacturer reporting, and compliance.
• Strong leadership presence—you inspire trust, drive accountability, and get results.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work alongside senior leadership.
• Proficiency with dealership accounting systems (DMS experience highly preferred).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
