BA Wind is responsible for the development, construction and operation of wind power onshore and offshore as well as other non-hydro renewable activities like solar and batteries. We manage the maintenance, operation and continuous improvement of wind generation assets, safely and with the highest levels of availability and profitability. We also perform the structuring and execution of project partnerships in accordance with overall wind strategy.

As wind farm systems evolve in complexity, adept management of interactions becomes pivotal. In a competitive market, precise specification and optimal performance of procured systems are imperative. As System Integrators, our skill in seamlessly integrating technologies into offshore wind farms is essential, driving cost efficiency and risk mitigation across diverse frameworks

The team 

The Systems Integration team comprises of a Systems Engineering and Interface Management function and represents the whole-system perspective in activities relating to the design, execution and operation of projects in the offshore windfarm portfolio. The team’s mission is to ensure that complex systems are engineered and delivered effectively to meet the needs of all stakeholders, whilst performing their intended use throughout their entire lifecycle.

Your role 

Join the Systems Integration team focused on enhancing our Systems Integration capabilities. Collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders to apply and advance deliverables, processes, and tools across active projects at various lifecycle stages. In this role, you'll lead needs and requirements elicitation and management, along with decision and interface management processes for innovative projects in our portfolio. Contribute to the strategic planning of Systems Engineering activities and stakeholder engagement, elevating our service offering in each area.   • Lead Systems Engineer steering transformational projects;
  • Develop and maintain system architectures, identifying technical interfaces;
  • Deploy decision-making processes and support concept evaluation work;
  • Test new Systems Integration capabilities using project work;
  • Promote and present application of systems integration methods across the organization;
  • Contribute to knowledge dissemination within the team and across projects;
  • Lead or support internal projects, initiatives, and cross-functional technical topics as needed.

Next to this you bring: 

  • Degree-level education in an engineering discipline;
  • At least 7 years of relevant systems engineering work experience with a track record in managing complex products or projects across a spectrum of lifecycle stages, and especially the early stages; 
  • Applied knowledge of MBSE is considered advantageous;
  • INCOSE, Systems Engineering certification is considered highly recommended.
