Project Manager, Global Real Estate and Facilities - Contract Position

Madrigal is a biopharmaceutical company pursuing novel therapeutics for non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), also known as metabolic dysfunction associated steatohepatitis (MASH). Our first therapy, Rezdiffra (resmetirom), was granted accelerated approval by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of adults with NASH with moderate to advanced liver fibrosis (consistent with stages F2 to F3 fibrosis) and is being studied in a Phase 3 trial for the treatment of NASH with compensated cirrhosis.
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to support the Head of Global Real Estate and Facilities. This contract role will help oversee and coordinate real estate and construction projects across our international portfolio. The ideal candidate will assist in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining a high standard of quality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Support initial project planning by collaborating with architects, engineers, and vendors to develop detailed project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
Assist with coordinating and scheduling projects through logical steps, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
Track and report on project budgets, timelines, and risks; proactively escalate issues and recommend solutions as needed.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including budget reports, meeting notes, change orders, and status updates.
Help manage project activities related to the construction, fit-out, relocation, and maintenance of offices and facilities.
Maintain strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and consultants.
Assist with ensuring project compliance with company policies, building codes, and health and safety standards.
Support contractor and subcontractor management to ensure quality work and adherence to specifications.
Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the successful execution of projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and project management tools is preferred.
Knowledge of project management principles, construction documents, contracts, plans, and specifications.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt quickly to changing project conditions.
Familiarity with construction drawings and design documents is a plus.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Real Estate, Construction Management, Facilities Management, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in commercial construction, real estate project management, or facilities management required.
Experience supporting multiple projects in a corporate or global environment is highly desirable.
Compensation: Base salary is determined by several factors that include, but are not limited to, a successful candidate's qualifications, skills, education, experience, business needs, and market demands. The role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits, which include flexible paid time off (PTO), medical, dental, vision, and life and disability insurance.
