We are looking for:

Someone who can create a positive patient experience by coordinating clerical and medical activities within a healthcare team. 

Responsibilities:

• Check patients in for their appointments and collecting co-pays.
• able to maintain confidentiality under HIPAA
• Obtain authorization approval from insurance for appropriate sleep study if needed.(Obtain appropriate approvals from the insurance.)
• Works closely with physicians, patients, outside facilities, and durable medical equipment companies to ensure all appropriate and required records are obtained before completing sleep studies, authorizations and/or DME equipment delivery.
• Pre-registers patients by obtaining patient demographics, insurance information and patient portal
• Verifies patient accounts and insurance at every encounter
• Answers calls, maintains positive working relationship, and coordinates activities with all patients/ customers in alignment with CLS Core Values
• Assist the medical personnel with preparation and revision of documents, scanning/faxing/mailing of medical records, and general clerical duties
• Travel to other CLS clinics as needed.

Requirements

• High school or equivalent 
• Previous healthcare experience is preferred 
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) is required 
• Traveling
