Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Design & develop data, software, & tech solutions to business questions.
• Pressure-test requirements for accurate delivery.
• Present & lead status to business stakeholders.
• Prepare & present data distributions to non-tech audiences.
• Compile & deliver accurate solution estimates.
• Define scope by understanding business needs w/ technology capabilities.
• Elicit requirements from ambiguous business needs. 
• Challenge where needed.
• Execute the software development lifecycle for new builds/changes

Qualifications

Education & Experience

Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, analytics or related field & 5 years of work experience in a combination of data analyst, business systems analyst &/or data engineering roles.

Of experience required, must have:

1. 4 years analyzing or engineering data w/ Structured Query Language (SQL);
2. 3 years gathering business requirements & preparing & presenting orally & in writing to supervisor, non-technology stakeholders, & peers in a matrixed organization;
3. 1 year analyzing or transforming data w/ Python; &
4. 1 year storing, processing, or analyzing data on cloud-based solutions.

Alternatively, would accept Master’s degree in computer science, management information systems, analytics or related field & 1 year of work experience in a combination of data analyst, business systems analyst &/or data engineering roles.

Of experience required, must have 1 year of each of (i), (ii), (iii) & (iv).
