We look forward to meeting you!</p><p><strong>Responsabilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Design, implement, test, deliver and maintain Nexthink product’s features.</li><li>Proactively collaborate with Product Management, Designers, and all types of Engineering stakeholders to maintain a high bar for quality in a fast-paced, iterative environment.</li><li>Advocate for improvements to product, security, and performance.</li><li>Solve technical problems that have a large scope, complexity, and business impact.</li><li>Craft code that meets our standards for style, maintainability, and best practices.</li><li>Maintain and advocate for these standards through code review.</li><li>Recognize impediments to our efficiency as a team ("technical debt"), propose and implement solutions.</li><li>Ship complex features and improvements.</li><li>Handle L3 support requests (together with the rest of the team).</li><li>Work with the agile iterative/incremental mindset and best practices and participate actively in the different ceremonials.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>B.S. or Master in Computer Science (or related discipline).</li><li>5+ years of experience in software development with a strong execution mindset.</li><li>Outstanding OO &amp; Functional programming skills.</li><li>Proficient with Java or another JVM language.</li><li>Experience owning a project from concept to production, including proposal, discussion, and execution.</li><li>Practical experience developing RESTful APIs in distributed systems</li><li>Excellent communication and teamwork skills.</li><li>Self-motivated and self-managing, with excellent organizational skills.</li><li>Positive and solution-oriented mindset.</li><li>Professional-level English spoken and written.<br/>  </li></ul><p><strong>Valued optional experience</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with Java Spring Boot/Micronaut.</li><li>Experience with Docker, Kafka (or other message brokers), and Kubernetes.</li><li>Experience with DBMS (e.g. ClickHouse).</li><li>Experience with orchestration tools (e.g. Ansible, Terraform).</li><li>Expertise in at least one cloud platform (e.g. Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).</li><li>Experience with NoSQL databases.</li><li>Contribution to open-source projects.</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>We are a fast-paced growing company, and we are hiring and growing a lot in our Madrid office.
