The graduate assistant will research, design, and implement a collections assessment project for the Armstrong Browning Library’s archival collections. This is an excellent opportunity to expand on previous archival course work or student employment in an archive.

Fall 2025 - Research best practices in conducting an archival collections assessment and design a collections assessment project plan with a rubric for the Armstrong Browning Library’s Archival Collections.
Spring 2026 – Carryout the collections assessment researched and designed in the fall semester.
The graduate assistant may also assist at the Library Services Center, conduct research to help library staff respond to email enquiries, assist with instruction sessions, etc.
Qualifications:
Ability to work the assigned hours per week in the library and during the library’s hours (Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm).
Strong research and writing skills.
Project management and backwards planning experience.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Demonstrated curiosity and ability to ask questions, creative problem solving, and dependability.
