Senior Director, Oncology Sales - West Coast

The Sr Director of Oncology Sales on the West Coast provides leadership, direction and stewardship to the organization’s sale function and is responsible for overall Hereditary Cancer sales performance and aligning the sales objectives with business strategy. This role will align with the West, Mid-America and North Central Divisions of Labcorp Diagnostics
- Provides visionary leadership and managerial excellence to the sales organization, while fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, high performance and ethical behavior.
- Aligns the sales organization’s objectives with business strategy through active participation in organizational strategic planning, sales strategy development, and forecasting.
- Evaluates existing sales activity to improve processes, metrics and goals that define success continuously.
- Works with cross-functional teams to develop, align and execute on commercial sales goals
- Responsible for total growth and growth targets of the Invitae Hereditary Cancer portfolio within Labcorp Diagnostics.
- Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume, market share and other key financial performance objectives.
- Ensures that new product launches have key sales stakeholder visibility and provide feedback/support related to commercial readiness.
- Develop strategic partnerships with KOLs and stakeholders in the Hereditary Cancer space, driving divisional wide growth and credibility
Critical Attributes:
- Proven experience in sales leadership, Genetics or Oncology with deep knowledge of healthcare landscape.
- Develops strong partnerships and ensures team brings strong customer focus with clients.
- Measures effectiveness of sales teams and adjusts strategies/tactics when needed.
- Multi-dimensional abilities to work on simultaneous tasks, across teams, and through various levels of the organization.
- Self-directed leader, who is intrinsically motivated and flexible to change in a dynamic, matrixed work environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and detail-oriented, with good time management skills.
- Outstanding communication, oral presentation and writing skillsets
- Excellent executive presence, ability to drive adoption and credibility with senior leadership across external organizations/clients and Labcorp.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 10 years sales experience in healthcare or lab-related field.
- 5 years of sales management experience (Genetics or Oncology experience preferred)
- Option for remote base with the ability to travel required

Pay Range: Annual Salary $200,000 - $220,000 + variable compensation plan and equity eligible
All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
Variable Compensation Sales Plan:
The position is also eligible for bonus and/or commissions under the applicable variable compensation plan. Bonus/commissions are earned based on achievement of performance metrics under the plan.
