Summary of Job Duties:

Under the direction of the Head Men's Track & Field/Cross Country Coach, the Director of Men's Track & Field/Cross Country Operations will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of operations for the Men's Track & Field and Cross Country programs in the Athletic Department. Will assist with monitoring the academic progress of student-athletes, communicates with compliance regarding practice calendars, competition schedules, financial aid and NCAA rules interpretations; coordinates team travel and logistics; manages logistics for campus recruiting visits and communicates equipment and facility needs. Serves as Meet Director for all home competitions, including championship events.

Regular, reliable and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution of higher learning

• At least two years of experience competing, coaching, and/or operations in a track & field and/or cross country program

• Experience with track & field/cross country meet management

• Demonstrated knowledge of NCAA ru
