This is a hands-on role which requires strong knowledge of US and local GAAPs as well as experience in accounts preparation.</p> <p> </p> <p>The role will also be responsible for the preparation of the payroll month-end close, as well as driving process improvement and automation and business partnering with the HR &amp; payroll teams on ad-hoc queries.<br/>  </p> <h2><b>Your Impact</b></h2> <p><b>Statutory reporting:</b></p> <ul> <li>Coordinating with the wider UA team to ensure timely delivery of statutory reporting for all EU legal entities.</li> <li>Liaise with 3rd party providers on the preparation and audit of the statutory financial statements of UA Europe subsidiaries. </li> <li>Support in the preparation of statutory financial statements for entities prepared in-house.</li> <li>Review of statutory financial statements prepared by 3rd party providers. </li> <li>Liaise directly with the Corporate Internal controls team to support effective controls reporting and communication from the region.</li> <li>Improve processes in relation to statutory reporting.</li> </ul> <p><br/> <b>Payroll:</b></p> <ul> <li>Prepare payroll month end close, including bookkeeping, reviewing of financial information, preparing and journal entries, and preparing account reconciliations.</li> <li>Ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly payroll-related processes.</li> <li>Perform transactional research and variance analysis on assigned accounts to understand reasons for changes and help ensure accuracy.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with key internal controls, policies, and procedures.</li> <li>Support the Under Armour Corporate team on ad hoc issues and improvement projects where required.</li> <li>Maintain close collaboration with FP&amp;A and other stakeholders.</li> </ul> <h2><b>Qualifications</b></h2> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics or equivalent experience in related fields.</li> <li>4+ years’ work experience in accounting and/or finance (preferably including Audit experience), in a high-growth dynamic operating environment, preferably including experience in a global public company.</li> <li>Proven track record of working with stakeholders from across geographies and managing the reporting cycle.</li> <li>Experience working with US GAAP and Local European GAAPs highly desirable.</li> <li>Experience in ESG reporting highly desirable.</li> <li>Combination of audit and industry experience preferred.</li> <li>Knowledge of SAP and Workiva preferred.</li> <li>Advanced Excel skills and data analytics.</li> <li>Ability to perform in a fast-paced and diverse environment.</li> <li>Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills.</li> <li>Team player with demonstrated ability to lead and influence others outside of direct team peers.</li> <li>Fluency in English is a must, while other European language is highly desirable.</li> </ul> <h2><b>Workplace Location</b></h2> <ul> <li><b>Location:</b> This individual must reside within commuting distance from our<b> </b>Amsterdam office.</li> <li><b>Return to Work Designation: </b>2 days week in-office, the remainder of work week remote. </li> </ul> <h2><b>Relocation</b></h2> <ul> <li>No relocation provided</li> </ul> <p><span>#LI-KC1</span></p> <p><span>#LI-HYBRID</span></p> <h2><b>Benefits &amp;
