Job Description: 

We are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will  have at least 5 years of commercial/industrial experience and be proficient in working with ice  machines, rack systems, chillers, RTUs, and preventative maintenance. As a Refrigeration  Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various  refrigeration systems in commercial and industrial settings. 

Responsibilities: 

- Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems, including ice machines, rack systems, chillers,  and rooftop units (RTUs). 

- Perform preventative maintenance on refrigeration equipment to ensure optimal performance and  longevity. 

- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with refrigeration systems, implementing effective solutions in  a timely manner. 

- Conduct routine inspections of refrigeration equipment and systems to identify potential  problems and perform necessary repairs. 

- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed. 

- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards. 

- Respond to emergency service calls in a prompt and professional manner, providing effective  solutions to minimize downtime. 

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective completion of projects. 

- Provide excellent customer service, addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction with our services.

Requirements

- Minimum of 5 years of commercial/industrial experience as a refrigeration technician. 

- Proficiency in working with ice machines, rack systems, chillers, and RTUs. 

- Will provide their own tools - Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance practices for refrigeration systems. 

- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues with refrigeration equipment effectively. 

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well independently and as  part of a team. 

- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. 

- EPA certification preferred. 

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
