Behavioral Health Associate (BHA) New Braunfels

This position will be working in New Braunfels (790 Generations Drive, Suite 515) with our PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program) patients.

For over 66 years, Starlite Recovery Center has been providing adult clients in the heart of the Hill Country in Center Point, Texas, with caring and highly effective drug rehab for substance abuse, alcohol addiction, and co-occurring issues.

This position will be working in New Braunfels (790 Generations Drive, Suite 515) with our PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program) patients.

As a Behavioral Health Associate at Starlite Recovery Center you will participate in the development and implementation of patients' treatment plan by: 

• Providing care and close supervision of facility patients and documenting behavior
• Developing positive relationships with patients and co-workers
• Following facility policies and procedures implementing treatment plans and providing crisis intervention as necessary.
• Actively participant as part of the treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction
• Act as a role model in using appropriate counseling skills by de-escalating aggression, using active listening skills, using appropriate tone and volume of voice, providing a high frequency and variety of positive reinforcements, maintaining appropriate boundaries, and promoting a positive peer culture.

Openings include the following:

• Full-time:  Monday, Wednesday and Friday 4pm - 9pm at the facility and Saturday and Sunday 9am - 9:30pm at our sober living home

Shift Differentials:

• Evening shift starting at 2:45pm ($2/hr) 
• Night shift starting at 10:45pm ($3/hr)
• Day shift starting at 7:15am Saturday and Sunday only ($1/hr)

License:

• Driver's License with clear MVR check
