Job Summary

KE2Therm Solutions is seeking an Electronics Technician for its location in Washington, Missouri.

 

Under the immediate supervision of the Senior Quality Engineer and in collaboration with the Director of Quality, the Electronics Technician is primarily responsible for implement and support the RMA process of Distech products, as well as provide technical support on products manufacture on premise. 

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

RMA

  • Diagnose issues reported by customers
  • Receive RMAs
  • Write analysis reports in various systems
  • Identify trends in potential issues
  • Investigate new products launched by Distech and identify potential non-conformities
  • Identify trends in potential issues
  • Perform proper ERP transactions and reports
  • Read and analyze electronic schematics to find defects on tested electronic boards

 

Other assigned tasks

  • Repairing electronic boards
  • Providing first-level support for production testing equipment
  • Maintain the inventory of boards under repair
  • Participate in the annual inventory count

 

Test benches support

  • Support might be required on the production test benches

Skills and Minimum Experience Required

  • College degree in electronics
  • Minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of the Windows environment
  • Structured, organized, and quick in their work
  • Leadership and autonomy
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Precision and manual dexterity
  • Team player
  • Proactive and shows initiative
  • Disciplined

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge of access control and lighting
