Position Summary:

The Senior Account Executive, Guest Commerce will drive cruise planner integration efforts from kickoff to completion and serve as the main person responsible for communicating project status to internal and cross-functional teams. You will lead the execution across internal business and technology teams as well as external vendors. You will participate in the development process as an integrated member of the Guest Commerce team you support which includes attending daily touch base meetings, backlog prioritization, timeline communication and deadline execution. You will also work with all parts of the organization as new features and enhancements are released and implemented.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Partner with the Guest Commerce Manager to project manage a body of work aligned against cruise planner business goals or audiences including but not limited to; promotions, web content updates/enhancements, IT defects
• Work cross-functionally with Onboard Revenue and Information Technology partners, vendors and other teams to ensure successful completion of projects. 
• Predict roadblocks and obstacles and establish meetings or integration points between teams 
• Establish deadlines related to overall department goals, ensure team is aware of key milestone dates, and communicates issues related to staying on schedule 
• Identify and manage cross-project dependencies. Consolidate, communicate and manage all issues and risks affecting the project. Communicate project status to project participants and stakeholders accurately and on time.

FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensures budget forecast and actuals are accurate as planned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field or equivalent, directly related experience. 
• Strong project management, detail-oriented, with excellent communication, and interpersonal skills required.
• Excellent presentation skills are key to delivering effective training content
• Experience as a project manager (3+ years) 
• Experience in an IT or software development setting (1+ years) 
• Experience working with Marketing/CRM SaaS products a plus
• Experience or knowledge in the production of events, campaigns, printed collateral, presentations, websites, videos, social and other marketing materials 

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Detail-oriented with very strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.  Ability to work in fast paced environment.
• Proven leadership skills with excellent track record in delivering strategic projects and managing project resources outside your direct span of control 
• Strong communication skills are required as this position regularly interacts with many functions in the organization.
• Experience building cross-functional working relationships in medium to large organizations 
• Working knowledge of personal computers within a Windows environment with e-mail, and MS Word with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, along with related printers and equipment. 
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrams, or schedule form.
