As a Relationship Manager II within PNC's Vendor Finance organization, you can be based across the bank's footprint. This is a remote position. Work may be performed from a quiet, confidential space in a home location, approved by PNC. This position may not be available in all geographic locations.**Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience in vendor and/or equipment finance, a credit background and/or formal credit training, and possibly experience working within custom truck financing.
Job Description
- Performs sales activities for credit-based leasing products and cross-sell of bank products/services through active cultivation of financing opportunities under assigned vendor-based finance programs. Generally works with a limited degree of direction/supervision.
- With limited direction, develops a network of deep relationships with key vendor and vendor channel personnel within each assigned vendor program to grow sales, profit and market share.
- Drives sales strategy execution to maximize financing opportunities under assigned vendor programs. Handles the origination, screening quoting, negotiation and documentation (in certain cases) of lease products and services for vendor relationships. Responsible for ensuring service level agreement performance metrics are achieved.
- Performs or has the ability to perform more complex transaction structuring and financial analysis to determine if the lease financing opportunity meets PNC parameters. Manages risk/return and actively identifies and mitigates different types of risk for new clients, such as regulatory, reputational, operational and credit risks.
- Coordinates financing request submission, credit underwriting/decisioning, loan documentation and transaction closing with internal and external partners.
- Identifies and/or considers key factors in the decision-making process, such as internal policies/procedures, external regulatory requirements and clients' needs.
