About the Opportunity

The Supply Quality Analyst is a key member of the Supply Chain analytics team, playing an integral role within a broader group that includes the Analytics Hub across Driscoll’s Supply Execution. This position provides data analytics and reporting across the supply chain of Driscoll’s of the Americas (DOTA), leveraging data mining, analysis, and interpretation to support performance and operational initiatives.

The role is responsible for supporting the ongoing improvement of Supply Chain Management Systems by assisting with system updates and business-driven enhancements. Additionally, the analyst monitors short-term and long-term quality trends and in-market insights, using findings to collaborate with regional teams and other business stakeholders to support supply chain initiatives.

 

Responsibilities

  • Supports ongoing and fruit analysis under the direction of the Quality System Manager.
  • Provides leadership with reports and analysis on a weekly, monthly as well as ad-hoc basis. 
  • Supports with ongoing system updates through staying up to date with business.
  • Interprets and offers preliminary findings/insights with regards to supply & quality trends from data reports.
  • Informs the supply execution analytics team on leading indicators that may need attention or involvement, sourcing relevant data trends across managed platforms.
  • Supports continuous data structure and reporting improvement efforts across supply chain.
  • Project management including leading short and medium-term projects in alignment with other functional work groups with specific emphasis on measuring supply chain performance and strategic improvements.
  • Enhances and updates existing Tableau reports across supply chain analytics.
  • Supports districts and audit team with structuring reports for internal compliance metrics.
  • Support in the enhancements of quality platforms.
  • Works in a positive, collaborative way with other supply chain analysts, regional teams and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Other duties as assigned.

   

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree required with preferred emphasis on data analytics, statistics, agribusiness or supply chain related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in data analytics; supply chain experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Tableau and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Supply Chain Management Systems or other Business Intelligence (BI) tools is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Spanish verbal and written capability preferred.
  • Ability to conduct data analysis projects independently, interpreting results and providing actionable insights with minimal supervision.
  • Basic understanding of supply chain elements and functions.
  • Familiarity with statistical methodologies, including multivariate regression, data manipulation, statistical testing, and results interpretation.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and daily activities.
  • Valid California driver’s license and ability to be covered under the company-sponsored vehicle insurance program.
  • Valid passport with the ability to travel internationally without restrictions.
  • Requires 5%–10% domestic and potential international travel, as needed.

Compensation & Benefits: 

The following information is provided in good faith as a general description of the salary range and benefits for the position posted.  The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate is dependent upon experience, skills, education, work location, internal pay equity, and other objective job-related factors.  

Salary Range estimated for Position Here:$50,000 to $70,000 USD.
