About the role

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for developing content/workflow expertise for assigned Epic application(s). Credentialed Trainers focus on the provision of end user training in the classroom, via live meeting and/or in 1:1 settings to end users from all levels of the organization. Additional focus areas include rounding, go-live support, customer communication and optimization activities. Become Proficiency Certified by Epic in your supported application.

Essential Job Duties:

  1. Serves as instructor before, during and after go-lives and system updates to existing system users. Provide training to new and current staff as needed.
  2. Documents issues identified during training and/or rounding, referring them to the appropriate individual and closing the loop with end-users. Utilizes a tracking system to document, track and trend issues.
  3. Provide department and user documentation upon completion of project(s).
  4. Rounds with end-users on a regular basis with a focus on end-user training, system efficiency and acceptance.
  5. Provides regular feedback to workgroups and leadership team to assist in the development of training and optimization prioritization.
  6. Provides application support for all users. Acts as a key contact for user questions, problems, and concerns.
  7. Able to assist project priorities accurately and maintain project timelines.
  8. Acts as an IT office/department representative.

Job Specifications:

  • Education: Four year college or university program degree preferred.
  • Experience: Two to five years related experience and/or training preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
