Position Summary
The Sales Effectiveness Manager is responsible for the implementation of and compliance around the pillars of Business Value, as well as the deployment of all GEN initiatives within the local agency Commercial domain. They possess extraordinary communication skills and are adept at organizing and delivering training sessions for (LOCAL AND GLOBAL PROCESSES). Comfortable with analysis to support their management of the metrics, and adoption of process changes, the Sales Effectiveness Manager is responsible to communicate within all levels of the organization effectively.
Functions & Duties
• Conduct training activities. Present information using a variety of instructional techniques or formats, such as role playing, team exercises, group discussions, videos, or facilitation to prepare participants for their jobs.
• Design, plan, organize and implement training workshops/programs for associate development. This includes course materials, instructor guides, manuals, handouts and visual materials.
• Gather feedback regarding value and effectiveness of training activities; report evaluation information. Incorporate feedback into course content and instructional techniques.
• Develop schedules for members of the RDP (Rotational Development Program) and Commercial Team
• Develop, maintain, and conduct Commercial New Hire training and refresher courses
• Train commercial team on all new processes related to digital roll outs
• Track and report on training activities.
• Map and maintain all business processes for commercial team
• Identify and assist with commercial process; review, design, planning, and facilitate process, global change, and improvement projects
• Assist Commercial Management team on projects and activities that provide more efficient and streamlined workflow within their teams
• Engage organizational departments to complete projects and achieve goals
• Serve as a resource to organizational leaders and managers for identifying and communicating operational process deficiencies and proposed process solutions
• Develop and maintain all digital roll out timeline and implementation plan
• Serve as the point of contact for respective CRM (NOVA Business) & AQUA End Users for-related support as well as SKU for information distribution.
• Assist with the creation of processes and participate in project rollouts.
• Share best practices and pertinent module related news with respective End Users.
• Participate in KU network through regular meetings and correspondence on best practices, issues and solutions.
• Perform business support to End Users in coordination with assistance from SKU and support teams. Provide training to EU, conducting refresher training courses as needed.
• Be aware of and utilize all training materials and project documentation. Update training materials as requested/as needed.
• Monitor system usage of assigned EU for activity and accuracy; provide proactive assistance as needed to meet stated usage goals.
• Monitor system adoption rate, recommend ideas for improvement.
• Other duties assigned as needed. (i.e. Act as back up for other KUs, training KU replacement).
• Work with RSC to provide KPI report on NOVA Business Usage
• MISCELLANEOUS RELATED DUTIES or PROJECTS AS ASSIGNED
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
• Advanced working knowledge of the shipping industry.
• In-depth understanding of CCA Organizational and Commercial processes.
• Intermediate working knowledge of Excel (data manipulation, filters, pivot tables) and PowerPoint.
• Proficient computer skills, including advanced use of Office 365 suite, LARA, SharePo
