About this role:

Carrier is looking for Communications and Marketing-related majors with demonstrated leadership ability and strong academic performance to join our Communications & Marketing Leadership Program (CMLP). Carrier’s CMLP offers an opportunity to be a part of the team and deliver real contributions in a range of areas, including digital marketing, employee communications, external communications, branding, marketing strategy and activation, creative and graphic design, insights and analytics, community affairs, and corporate giving., through three rotations over two years, including assignments in Carrier’s corporate headquarters and business units.

Our commitment to you is to provide front-line, hands-on, meaningful assignments designed to stretch your capabilities and accelerate your professional development. In addition to the hands-on experience gained through the rotation assignments, associates will receive high-caliber training, mentoring, and guidance from leading Carrier executives and members of the function globally, in addition to interactions with other CMLP associates, establishing a strong and lasting network of colleagues worldwide. During the candidate's time in the program, other rotational assignments may occur in departments throughout Carrier corporate headquarters, as well as its HVAC and Refrigeration segments.

This position will require 3 rotations. Each rotation will be 8 months long and located in different states. The ability to relocate, with financial assistance, for each rotation will be necessary.

  • Advertising and promotion

  • Change communications

  • Community relations and corporate giving

  • Creative and graphic design

  • Digital marketing including web development and marketing technologies

  • Digital communications including social media

  • Insights and analytics

  • Integrated marketing communications

  • Executive communications

  • Global employee communications

  • Marketing strategy and branding

  • Project management

  • Public relations

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or public relations.

  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship

  • GPA must be greater than or equal to 3.0 GPA

  • Must be geographically mobile and have the ability to relocate for rotations.

  • To be eligible for the program, you must be a 2024 or 2025 graduate of the degree in the relevant field and start in the Leadership Program June 2025

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant internships or co-op experiences preferred

  • GPA must be greater than or equal to 3.0 GPA (3.2 Preferred) 

  • A proactive and results-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

  • Excellent analytical and communication skills

  • Strong project management and organizational skills

  • Team player with a positive, collaborative work ethic 

  • Familiarity with MS Office suite, Adobe experience a plus

  • Relevant internships or co-op experiences within communications or marketing functions
