About the role
As the Applications Delivery Director for Enrollment & Partner Connectivity Technology at Trustmark, you will bring deep insurance technology (InsurTech) delivery experience, domain knowledge, and strong vendor & SI partner governance skills to execute work through internal and outsourced teams. You will serve as a delivery leader, partnering closely with Trustmark leadership and IT vendors across voluntary benefits, life insurance, and group insurance to deliver technology solutions that support enrollment and partner connectivity. Responsible for delivering enrollment connectivity and platform capabilities that power a digital-first enrollment and benefits administration ecosystem, including efficient case setup, streamlined partner interactions, and reliable connectivity with key benefit administration platforms, HRIS/HCM systems, brokers, and employer partners. Collaborates with Enterprise Architecture, Enterprise Integrations, Infrastructure, Data, Security, and SI partners to deliver scalable, high-quality enrollment capabilities that advance Trustmark’s modernization strategy.
The person in this role will bring a strong software engineering background and a pragmatic grasp of engineering and delivery best practices, paired with delivery ownership and rigor, excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders, and deep experience governing external SI partners.
This is a hybrid role with 3 days at our campus in Lake Forest, IL, and 2 days remote.
Key Accountabilities:
Provide strategic consulting, support and guidance regarding key IT initiatives.
Ensures requirements are well-defined and delivery plans are aligned to established architectural and engineering standards in partnership with IT domain leaders.
Owns end-to-end SDLC delivery governance, orchestration, and outcomes.
Provides oversight of Agile delivery (Scrum, Kanban) in SAFe framework.
Communicates decisions, priorities and project information to appropriate levels of staff regarding business unit requests, projects and initiatives.
Serves as a primary point of contact advisor for IT Executives. Advises in delivering products and services to value all business partners. Provides strong oversight of SI partners to ensure adherence to established architecture standards.
