We’ll count on you to:

• Manage a team of professionals who are responsible for AR and AP processes.
• Research accounting policy or reporting issues
• Prepare and analyze reconciliation questions and ensures timely and accurate monthly and quarterly close
• Review internal processes and procedures and provide recommendations to management for improvement.
• Assist and lead implementation of process changes and projects
• Verify work of and provide guidance to less experienced levels of colleagues.
• Provide functional advice or training to less-experienced accountant positions.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, carrier agreements, SOX procedures, local GAAP and US GAAP and local statutory regulations (as applicable) regarding financial matters
• Prepare ad hoc analyses as assigned
• Partner with key stakeholders on various projects and company initiatives

What you’ll need to have:

• 5+ years of professional experience in accounting or finance
• Working knowledge of AR and AP processes
• Ability to drive consistent execution and strong interpersonal skills
• Internal control experience
