Job Description
Step into a role where you’ll be the vital first point of contact for patients seeking medical care. As an Appointment Scheduler, you’ll utilize state-of-the-art scheduling systems to connect patients with healthcare providers efficiently and compassionately. Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist patients via phone with scheduling their medical appointments
- Navigate scheduling systems to find optimal appointment times that match patient needs
- Collect and accurately record essential patient information while maintaining strict confidentiality
- Follow established protocols to ensure proper appointment scheduling across various medical services
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to optimize scheduling efficiency
- Document all patient interactions in the system following standardized procedures
- Maintain HIPAA compliance in all patient communications and data handling
Requirements
- Excellent English communication skills with a patient-focused approach
- Previous experience in customer service or healthcare scheduling preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and quiet home office setup
- Ability to work US business hours
- Comfort with learning new technology systems
- Strong sense of confidentiality and professional ethics
