Job Description Summary
As the AVP, Advanced Analytics Governance, you’ll oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures that ensure ethical, transparent, and accountable use of artificial intelligence within the organization and thru 3rd parties. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to align AI initiatives with business objectives and regulatory requirements and ensure appropriate risk frameworks are in place and adhered to across the enterprise. You’ll be accountable for managing the on-going maturity of the model lifecycle in accordance with model risk management policies and procedures, such as peer review, model documentation, model inventory, risk assessments and risk classification.Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Leads implementation and strategy of transformational efforts in alignment with the analytics strategy and in partnership with key business partners to insure the execution of a mature governance framework.
Leads implementation and communication of policies and procedures to execute on governance framework.
Tracks and monitors our most complex risks related to advanced analytics. Collaborates with leadership to develop prevention and mitigation strategies.
Primary point of contact for integrated services for 3rd party vendor(s) including model monitoring.
Aligns internal teams and 3rd party vendor(s) on annual priorities, accountabilities, expected results and key performance and success metrics.
Develops and enforces AI Governance frameworks.
Monitors systems and processes for compliance with ethical standards.
Leads model risk management assessments and mitigation strategies.
Works with Legal, Compliance, Procurement, Privacy and Information Risk Management on our risk management processes.
Develops deep and productive relationships with business partners across the enterprise.
Interacts with multiple departments of the company to achieve company goals and objectives to ensure alignment and maximize relationships with key partners.
Directs associate management, including performance management, salary planning and administration, training and development, workflow and organizational planning, hiring and placement, and disciplinary actions.
Performs other responsibilities as requested.
Reporting Relationships: Reports to VP, Chief Advanced Analytics Leader. Leads a team of 4 direct reports and 5-10 indirect reports.
Typical Skills and Experiences:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field such as Statistics, Computer Science, Decision Science, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or Engineering. Graduate degree (MBA, MS) strongly preferred.
License/Certification/Designation:
Experience: Typically, 10 or more years of progressive management and leadership experience in advanced analytics, modeling, consulting, enterprise risk management practices and model risk management.<
