The OpportunityAs a Construction Manager at Overwatch, you are the on-site leader responsible for providing complete visibility, accountability, and execution discipline across data center construction projects. This role is built for construction professionals who thrive in the field and understand that in mission-critical construction, daily documentation, communication, and trade coordination are just as important as managing schedule and budget.You will serve as the client’s eyes and ears on site, ensuring progress, safety, quality, and real-time reporting across every trade partner using Procore and infrastructure tracking tools.

Key Responsibilities

Business Processes

Create and maintain best practices for daily field documentation using Procore (Daily Logs, Photos, Trackers, Inspections)
  • Update daily Infrastructure Trackers for each trade to accurately reflect field progress
  • Attach updated trackers and narratives to Daily Logs for client and design team visibility
  • Provide daily updates on RFIs, Submittals, and Change Orders identified by the Sr. CM
  • Facilitate decision-making by identifying production gaps, sequencing issues, and potential schedule impacts early
  • Drive consistent documentation practices that allow scalable reporting across projects


Communication

Create unfiltered Daily Logs documenting construction activities, site dynamics, accomplishments, and risksCapture up to 200 daily jobsite photos using Procore’s photo tool to document work in progressRespond daily to comments and questions from client and design team reviewers on logs, photos, and trackers
  • Document meeting notes as a field diary (discussion points, tone, and project impacts — not minutes)
  • Attend OAC and project meetings and communicate impacts to scope, schedule, and safety
  • Serve as the single point of contact for field communication between Overwatch, client partners, and trade teams
  • Provide weekly updates on project scope, schedule, and budget following data center construction standards


Accountability

Establish and promote a safe, organized, and highly accountable jobsite culture
  • Perform weekly Safety Audits using Procore’s inspection tool
  • Maintain real-time awareness of field conditions and how they align to schedule and budget
  • Work independently to identify and escalate issues before they impact the project
  • Ensure all documentation reflects true jobsite conditions at all times


Vendor Management and Contract Compliance

  • Oversee daily construction site activities and subcontractor performance
  • Ensure trade partners are executing work according to sequence, quality expectations, and infrastructure plans
  • Review scopes of work, design plans, and vendor invoices for alignment with field progress
  • Support preparation of RFPs, PERs, and project approval documentation
  • Ensure compliance with audit requirements through thorough Procore documentation


Requirements

Project management experience in commercial, healthcare, industrial, or mission-critical constructionStrong field leadership, trade coordination, and jobsite presence
  • High proficiency in Procore (Daily Logs, Photos, Inspections, Documentation)
  • Experience managing multiple trades and high-volume subcontractor teams
  • Strong written communication and documentation skills
  • Working knowledge of construction software platforms (Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn the data center environment — we’ll teach the tech

Driver’s License Requirement:For roles that require on-site presence or travel between work locations as an essential function of the position, candidates must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license appropriate for the role and be eligible to operate a motor vehicle in accordance with applicable laws.
