Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Accounting & Tax Specialist, GR who will be joining our Greek business, assisting the accounting department in daily, monthly, and annual activities, including generating financial reports, preparing taxes, and assisting with audits and resolving discrepancies.

Reporting to Accounting Team Lead, GR, you will be responsible to undertake tasks such as:

• Responsible for accounting activities related to General Ledger, Accounts Payable & Fixed Assets
• Month-end and year-end closing processes
• Perform monthly Balance sheet Review and Fluctuation Analysis
• Calculate monthly Current/Deferred Tax and submit Tax schedules
• Cooperate with external auditors on financial reports and accounting statements
• Assisting in the preparation of yearly transfer pricing file
• Ensure compliance to IFRS, local reporting standards, tax regulations and Internal Control Framework

For this role as an Accounting & Tax Specialist, GR, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. Post-graduate degree is preferred.
• 3-4 years of Accounting/Finance experience
• Accurate, flexible thinking, analytical skills
• Team spirit, result and solution oriented
• Experienced in ensuring tax and accounting compliance
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS, Local GAAP, tax and accounting practices
