JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JOB SUMMARY - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
Provides security management and guidance regarding multiple facets of security operations to include information security, physical security, visitor control, badging, document control, classification management, personnel security updates, security investigations, security briefings and self-inspections in support of Space Force and the National Space Test and Training Complex (NSTTC).
- Supports multiple facets of security operations development and implementation to include information security, physical security, visitor control, badging, document control, classification management, personnel security, security investigations, security briefings, self-inspections, and risk identification/mitigation.
- Responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of security related functions in accordance with the DoD 5200.01, 5205.07, 5105.21, ICD 705, local policies and other applicable manuals or directives.
- Communicates with the clearance granting agency regarding status of personnel security clearances and periodic re-investigations for employees, assigned teammates, consultants and government personnel.
- Maintains visitor badging logs and daily checklists.
- Uploads foreign travel and other personnel security actions/updates for government and contractor personal to DISS, JADE, and any other database/systems as required.
- Conduct security approvals for System Access Authorization Requests (SAARs) for multiple networks.
- Obtain and maintain multiple computer system accounts needed to support a variety of government customers and contractor personnel.
- Oversee departmental coordination with employees, assigned teammates, and consultants for timely submittal of documents regarding initial clearances, accesses and periodic reinvestigations; assist with fingerprints and SWFT/NBIS submissions as necessary.
- Facilitates security briefings for individuals & groups as necessary.
- Assist the customer with the development of Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) and organizational structure needed to support Space Force operations in a fast-paced high demand environment.
- Coordinates with governmental agencies regarding proper classification guidance.
- Enforces all local security procedures and practices including controlling access to secure facilities or restricted areas.
- Responsible for maintaining equipment inventory of all accountable classified material/items, and completing end-of-day checks.
- Conducts reviews of documentation for proper security controls and markings.
- Performs other security related tasks as directed.
REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree or equivalent military or technical school and one year specifically related work experience in the NISPOM/SAP/SCI security fields, complemented by formal training such as successful completion of the Industrial Security Management Course. Must be very knowledgeable with the rules and regulations of the National Industrial Security Program Operation Manual (NISPOM) pertaining to all aspects of personnel security.
In addition, a Security Specialist III must possess the following qualifications:
- Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Must be proficient operating personal computers using Microsoft Word, Excel, and graphics software, and possess data base management experience
- Must be familiar with a mainframe computer terminal, laminating machine and professional instamatic camera
- Must qualify for and maintain a government security clearance
- Must possess a valid, state-issued driver's license

SALARY
The expected salary range for this position is $60,000 to $89,000 annually.
