JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Dr. Janette Watkins' research laboratory, within the Department of Kinesiology, College of Health and Human Development at University Park Campus, is seeking a part-time sport scientist to support research efforts conducted in local gyms around Bloomington, Indiana. This role involves coordinating on-site data collection, assisting with grant and manuscript preparation, and providing general support for ongoing research projects.
Key Responsibilities:
· Coordinate and conduct on-site data collection in participating gyms.
· Assist with the preparation of research grants and manuscripts.
· Support general research activities and project organization.
· Collaborate with research team members to ensure smooth project operations.
Qualifications:
· Background in sport science, exercise science, kinesiology, or related field.
· Strong organizational and communication skills.
· Ability to work independently in community-based settings.
· Experience with data collection and research processes preferred.
