What you get to do:
In this key role, you will work with Merchandise leadership and Inventory Control to monitor, track, and ensure the proper flow of goods, and meet/exceed financial goals. You will:
- Ensure the proper flow of goods from Warehouse to stores by helping to maintain min/max levels for all Retail and Photo locations at Busch Gardens and Adventure Island.
- Communicate regularly with in-store leadership to update min/max levels seasonally.
- Maintain healthy inventory levels by facilitating store-to-store, inter-department, and park-to-park transfers.
- Assist Inventory Control and store leadership to identify product gaps, research root causes, and collaborate on solutions.
- Participate as a key stakeholder in the preparation and execution of Annual Inventory.
- Own the Busch Gardens Mail Order process by professionally replying to guest inquiries and completing over the phone purchases and refunds.
- Ensure excellent customer service to internal and external guests.
- Support the Busch Gardens Pin Trading program by maintaining and updating pin boards and ambassador lanyards, communicating new pin releases, and coordinating quarterly Pin Trading Events.
- Work with Marketing counterpoint to feature exciting new products and promotions on Busch Gardens social media channels.
- Help maintain and update store Bubble Plans.
- Assist Visual Merchandise on large scale seasonal product sets and store refreshes.
- Occasionally assist Warehouse and in-park locations as needed.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
What it takes to succeed:
- At least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
- Previous theme park experience preferred.
- Dependability, integrity, and organization.
- Exceptional communication and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to balance a workload of multiple active projects.
- Ability to set priorities and adjust based on additional and unexpected tasks.
- Must consistently meet time sensitive deadlines.
- Must be a self-starter, with the ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
- Must be proficient in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, & TEAMs.
- Willingness to learn key SeaWorld programs (e.g., MMS, Retail Ideas, SAP, X-Admin)
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. Ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time, and to lift 50+ lbs.
- Must have flexibility to work varying shifts/hours, including early morning, late nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs require. Typical work hours 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.
- Compensate rate: $13.25/hr
