What this position is about - Purpose:
Performs professional field and office engineering work related to planning and implementation of capital investment projects in scope of energy supply (specification, design/layout, schedule and budget) and daily departmental operations, including preparation of estimations and reports. Support of all Building & Utilities (B&U) related projects
Position:
As the Energy Supply Project Manager in the Technical Service department you will:
- Serves as project manager for routine and complex projects including defining project scope, selecting consultants. Keeps the deadlines; makes amendments; monitors, reviews and coordinates B&U related projects; monitors contractors’ work and deadlines; coordinates participation of other units in the projects under his responsibility. Provides technical advice to contractors, colleagues and other professionals regarding company policies and procedures in scope of B&U; assists in solving technical issues
- Develops specifications, estimations and reports specifying machinery and equipment for B&U infrastructure; develops engineering reports (i.e. status updates). Develops Business Approval Proposals (BAP) and Post Implementation Assessment reports (PIA)
- Provides engineering expertise reports. Participates in the process of drawing up, negotiating and managing contracts for projects. Develops Requests for Quotation (RFQ) and puts the project out for tender, evaluates bids and recommends contractors. Reviews plans submitted by developers and engineers for adequacy of application as well as conformance with company plans, specifications and B&U standards
- Provides investment proposals in scope of B&U area in cooperation with other departments and engineers; participates in Annual Strategy Planning (ASP) being responsible for preparation of valid Capex/Opex figures among planned project portfolio
- Represents Engineering Dept. during the meetings with local authorities, external companies and representatives. Performs validation of assigned projects budgets (Capex and Opex) for monthly reporting (checking of budget increase/decrease, delays, scope changes, etc.)
- Being backup of person responsible for managing area related to electricity supply and backup for person responsible for energy consumption analysis
- Coordination of all activities related to switching off and on the electricity supply (including cooperation with external parties). Issuing written requests for works related to any activities under voltage, or performed close to source of voltage as well as any other dangerous works (especially dangerous for life). Supervision over activities and documentation related to electrical measurements (especially in scope required by law regulations), Supervision over measurement systems (including energy related counters). Connection of equipment to busbars (or other electrical supply points) within implementation of engineering projects
- Monitoring of technical condition of the electrical equipment and its working parameters. Planning and scheduling of maintenance scope and activities (corrective and preventive) to avoid breakdowns. Preparation of yearly budgets for maintenance and exploitation of the equipment.
- Supervision of external services performing maintenance works. Managing cooperation with external companies in required scope (including tendering, contract preparation and its processing). Supervision over technical documentation (including protocols from measurements, audits, etc.)
Who are we looking for - Requirements:
- Master degree in engineering (Electrical Engineering, Mechanical and Power Engineering)
- Qualifications: Electrical Qualification Certificate for E Group 1 (up to 30kV); E-Group 2; E-Group 3, D-Group 1 (up to 30kV); D-Group 2; D-Group 3
- 5+ years of professional experience in similar engineering position
