Customer Desk Associate

We are looking for a Customer Desk Associate to strengthen our Customer Desk Section. The ideal candidate should have been involved in any of the following duties and responsibilities:

• customer legalization processing
• customer and account opening procedure.

Responsibilities

• Communication with existing or prospective customers.
• Collection of Account Opening/AML Documentation and/or other relevant documentation in relation to e-banking and debit cards issuance.
• Screening of prospective and existing customers as required by AML procedures.
• Set-up and subsequent maintenance of customers and accounts in the core banking system.
• Annual review of customers due diligence file for AML purposes.
• Follow-up with customers and lawyers for pending/missing documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience with a Bank or other financial institution, preferably in the shipping sector.
• Experience in core banking systems and other banking applications. Knowledge of GLOBUS - T24 will be considered an asset.
• Cognizant of AML policies and procedures in the banking sector.
• Ability to handle and monitor corporate documentation.
• Good knowledge of English (written and verbal).
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams.
• Ability to listen, communicate and interact effectively with people.
• Possess a results-oriented approach, with high degree of accuracy and stress resilience.
