Project Overview:

Port Arthur LNG, LLC (PALNG) is developing a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production and export facility on a site located on the western shoreline of the Port Arthur Canal in Jefferson County, Texas. The project base scope will include two (2) identical LNG trains, two (2) LNG Storage Tanks, one (1) LNG Carrier Berth, and associated utilities/facilities. The Project is to be constructed on a parcel of land located along State Highway 87 south of Port Arthur, Texas, between the inner coastal waterway bridge and Keith Lake.

 

The Infrastructure Global Business Unit (GBU) is executing site civil and marine scopes of work associated with our scopes of work on the Energy GBU LNG projects.

Job Summary:

In this role, you will supervise team and material management operations for a construction project to ensure conformance to corporate policies including receipt, inspection, storage, inventory control, physical security and issue of materials and equipment. You will make recommendations for facility, equipment, and staffing resources to ensure performance continues to meet project requirements 

 

Major Responsibilities:

• Manages material management operations of personnel assigned to a large complex construction project to ensure conformance to corporate, global business unit and project policies and procedures in all disciplines and functional areas for which material management is responsible including the receipt, inspection, storage, inventory control (manual and/or automated), physical security and issue of materials and equipment 
• Provides supervision to site materials coordination personnel at the project site to ensure that materials are provided on time and in sufficient quantity to support the completion of construction work 
• Identifies the need and completes the action for all UOS&D material and equipment received at project temporary operating and jobsite locations 
• Initiates actions to identify and dispose of material and equipment declared excess to project needs by project management
