You Are:
We are looking for a skilled cybersecurity controls implementation analyst to join our dedicated AFS Compliance Advisory Team. This role focuses on helping project teams understand and implement NIST 800-171 controls for project-managed AFS systems. Additionally, this role would review documentation for project teams to ensure they meet eligibility criteria, and manage project transitions from one phase to another. The ideal candidates should have strong background in security controls implementation, and a keen eye for detail.
The Work:
- Perform project teams’ readiness engagements to ensure they meet the IS Compliance entrance criteria.
- Provide guidance to project teams by setting the expectations on what should be done to fully comply with NIST 800-171 controls.
- Coordinate with project teams to understand the requirements of applicable NIST 800-171 controls.
- Provide advisory role to project teams on how to implement controls.
- Review and documents gaps in control implementation and assist teams in properly documenting the POA&Ms for gaps identified.
- Ensure project teams have completed all required documentation necessary for the IS Compliance stage.
- Manage project transitions from compliance to the continuous monitoring phase.
Here's What You Need:
- US Citizenship required
- Familiarity with NIST Risk Management Framework, and knowledge of NIST controls, especially NIST 800-171 and NIST 800-53
- Detail oriented, process driven, and well organized
- Excellent communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills.
- Experience presenting complex technical information to project teams, and leading them through the NIST 800-171 compliance process
- Work independently to deliver timely solutions without direct supervision
- At least 5 years’ experience in information security, or other equivalent combination of education or equivalent work experience.
Bonus Points if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work or military experience.
- Professional certification, such as CISSP, CISM, CISA or other information security credential, is preferred.
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
