Position Title: Production Lead (PR04) 

Reports To: Facility Manger 

Summary: 

The Production Lead is responsible for assisting the facility management team in the daily operations of the Blend Mill. This role includes maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.  

Job Responsibilities: 

Maintain and track production inventories. 

• Maintain production schedules. 

• Ensure adherence to product quality procedures. 

• Maintain and track maintenance and pm records.  

• Track and manage safety events and training as needed, 

•  Monitor production-based equipment. 

• Oversee shift operations. 

• Operate all production equipment. 

• Fill in for all vacant or open positions.  

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel} including page formatting and basic formulas. 

• Effective communication skills. 

• Ability to take direction on multiple production projects. 

Self-motivation to complete tasks independently. 

            External Requirements:  

• Minimum of six months of production-based experience, preferably in a batching or weighing environment. 

• Valid driver's license. 

• Ability to work at heights. 

• Ability to obtain and maintain a PIT certification.  

• Basic Computer Skills  

• Physical Requirements: 

• Sitting for periods of time, using hands and/or fingers for typing. 

• Standing for periods of time for production oversight. 

• Lifting up to 50 lbs.

Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.
