Position Overview:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is targeting experienced Fabrication Specialists to join our Interiors Responsibility Center in North Charleston, SC.

Position Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs on interior monuments/components such as  strong backs, class dividers, buckets, bridge assemblies, ECS ducts and related assemblies, AMODs closets, partitions, and vestibules.

• Perform removals and installations of interior parts

• Perform decorative laminate repairs/replacement

• Ensure compliance with all safety and quality requirements

• Ensure compliance with FOD/tool control requirements

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Knowledge of composite fabrication and/or assembly.

• Knowledge of interior installations

• Knowledge of related systems to perform work (CMES, Velocity, REDARS, IVT)

• Knowledge of and experience in general assembly, production installations, and inspection processes

• Currently or previously held qualifications and certifications related to major tasks

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 1+ years of experience CMES, Velocity, REDARS, IVT

• 1+ years of experience in general assembly, production installations, and inspection processes

Shift:

This position is for a variable shift (shift 4).  Variable shift means you will be placed on a shift at the time of hire based on business needs at that time. You will remain on that shift until re-evaluation is need.
