What You Will Achieve
We seek a highly motivated Solution Engineer to join Pfizer’s Digital Commercial and Customer Creation Center (C4) Digital Technology team for solution delivery for Pfizer’s Primary Care market access and field reimbursement teams.
The Data Analytics Lead will collaborate closely with the Patient Services Functional and Data Leads to become an expert in Digital Patient Support Services solutions. This role will primarily focus on delivering solutions for the Primary Care business unit. Their main responsibilities will involve identifying, developing, and implementing processes and reporting related to these solutions. They will also be responsible for strategizing data architecture and visualizations of Patient Support Services platforms, creating analytic solutions, and utilizing data preparation and visualization platforms.
The ideal candidate should possess advanced knowledge in data architecture, data profiling/quality tools, AWS services, Tableau, Snowflake, Informatica Cloud Services, Data IKU AI/ML tools, and have some understanding of building APIs. Additionally, the candidate will provide support and guidance to the team in adopting Agile practices and promoting flexible approaches to delivering value to patients.
How You Will Achieve It
- Gathers requirements from business leaders and translates key business questions into solid requirements, ultimately driving and presenting actionable business insights.
- Collaborates with product owners to prioritize features for ongoing sprints and manages a list of technical requirements based on business needs, innovative technologies, defects, and issues.
- Defines program outcomes and business cases in alignment with respective line organizations across Pfizer's SAS COE.
- Develops plans and instructions for operating complex business systems, incorporating analytics and AI/ML strategies.
- Assesses database changes by comparing them with business requirements and design documents to ensure effective design, selection, and implementation.
- Promotes consistency and best practices in data management, overseeing data accuracy processes, goals, and assessment.
- Plans and supervises the day-to-day operations of the workstream/team and ensures timely delivery of milestones.
- Takes accountability for on-time delivery of program outcomes and achievement of agreed benefits within the allocated budget.
- Coordinates with multiple stakeholders, fostering collaboration with internal and external parties, including software vendors, data providers, and specialty pharmacy customers.
- Ensures compliance with Pfizer's data contract privacy and re-identification terms, promptly addressing conflicts or issues by involving P&A Legal and Privacy.

- Exhibit a strong ability to effectively communicate insights from complex datasets through the use of illustrative views, incorporating Patient Support Services data and advanced analytical algorithms.
- Ensure data reliability, efficiency, and adherence to best-in-class data governance practices, prioritizing security and compliance.
- Play a key role in the development and delivery of inovative visualization solutions for the business.
- Create dashboard and reporting prototypes as necessary, while also developing reporting and analysis templates and tools.
- Engage with a diverse range of highly analytical platforms and data sources, each with unique collection points and complex collection methods.
- Collaborate with Digital Client Partners to establish alignment on priorities, processes, and governance, fostering an environment of experimentation to drive innovation and maximize value generation.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of relevant experience emphasizing application support, development, or systems engineering.
- Experience supporting applications and solutions in the pharmaceutical industry with a focus on patient access and adherence, Specialty pharmacy and Specialty HUB distribution
- Good understanding of data compliance processes and controls around Patient Health Information (PHI) and Patient Identifiable Information (PII)
- Demonstrated understanding of analytic tools/method
