Business Operations Systems Research Analyst

This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance.

Specializes in Programming and Budget activities to support the AGO’s PPBE processes by preparing the necessary documentation and artifacts, assisting in contracting and acquisition processes, and ensuring compliance with the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) lifecycle. Prepare and maintain budgetary reports and records, provide financial analysis and recommendations to optimize budget utilization, and coordinate with financial departments to ensure accurate and timely budget execution. Provide operational support to assist with planning and developing metrics; Automation/IT support for PR Web / General Funds Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), Electronic Document Access (EDA), procurement tracking; Automation/System Administration, E-Business tools, and other windows-based automated system interfaces.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

Includes the following: 

• Monitors the day-to-day financial operations within the company such as payments, invoicing, payroll, and other transactions.  

• Oversees financial department employees.  

• Ensures all reports and other financial contract deliverables are met.  

• Prepares cost estimates for clients and cost proposals for contract option years.  

• Provides accurate preparation and timely submission of Labor and Other Direct Cost (ODC) monthly Invoices.  

• Supervises Post Support Unit (PSU) payment submission process.  

• Assists the Program Manager with all financial issues related to the contract.  

Issuances of check payments for any routine Accounts Payable for the Office Operations.  

• Responsible for accurate maintenance and reconciliation of the bank register.  

• Ensures Petty Cash is funded and accurately processed.  

• Maintains a high degree of confidentiality.  

• Ensures accuracy and completeness of all reports, assignments, and tasks before submission.
