Learning and Scale-up Manager in P2X

About the role

<p>Join us in this role where you’ll lead, collect, document, and analyse lessons learned on the FlagshipOne project as well as publish non-commercially sensitive findings to help accelerate the green transition into eFuels. These topics include reflections on specific technical challenges with integrating green technologies, lessons learned on requirements for various stages of a project delivery model, and wider considerations on how the regulatory environment impacts project decision making. You’ll also help drive certainty of outcome for the project by mapping and improving work processes during the construction and commissioning. This role is initiated in collaboration with <a href="https://www.cop28eusideevents.eu/e/programme?session=1875433&i=GwETJdA9t-ByP4zantmmrfHG4GxHm-dw">Breakthrough Energy Catalyst</a> who was recently announced as an equity partner in our FlagshipOne project and has a mission to accelerate the deployment of emerging climate technologies.</p>

<p>Welcome to P2X - Execution and Operation<br/>
You’ll be part of our P2X Project Management Office where you, together with your colleagues, will be allocated to FlagshipOne, an innovative Power-to-Methanol project. The role involves engagement with the project management and all project functions, incl. subcontractors, to identify lessons learned as well as execution methods and work processes that can be enhanced using various improvement tools, incl. Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. As a team, we embrace learning opportunities in all tasks and strive to achieve simplicity and efficiency in our processes.</p>

<p>You’ll play an important role in: </p>
<ul>
<li>developing a deep understanding of the project’s structure, operations, and key performance indicators necessary for working in new and innovative technologies and technology combinations</li>
<li>documenting and sharing lessons learned throughout the construction, commissioning, and start-up period</li>
<li>synthesising learnings into key findings to be published via the project company and shareholder’s channels in thought leadership and key how-to pieces to help catalyse the industry</li>
<li>engaging with Project and Subcontract Management teams to identify areas of risk and opportunity as well as potential project or industry improvements</li>
<li>working with Project Management team to ensure Learning and Scale-up Program is operating effectively, incl. access to key departments and helping implementation of recommendations and findings</li>
<li>collaborating with stakeholders from various departments to gain buy-in and support for value enhancement initiatives</li>
</ul>

<p>To succeed in the role, you: </p>
<ul>
<li>have proven experience from several years in process improvement, project management, or related fields</li>
<li>have experience in deploying process and project improvement tools, which may include Certified Six Sigma Yellow, Green or Black belt with familiarity in Lean Construction methodologies</li>
<li>have good communication skills with internal and external stakeholders as well as an ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams</li>
<li>demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and ability to think analytically</li>
<li>have demonstrated experience in driving change and managing projects to successful completion.</li>
<li>have a bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent experience in business, industrial engineering, operations management, or related field.</li>
