<p>Job Title</p>Billing Data Hub Senior Analyst<p>Order to Cash process is responsible for generating revenues to our company. As part of the Billing Automation Service, the candidate will participate in the Billing Mediation step of this process in the Billing Data Hub team.</p><p></p><p>Billing Mediation is the internal process in Amadeus which acquires billing-eligible events and other data from Amadeus Products and Services, transforms this data (validation, filtering, correlation, enrichment, aggregation, ..) into billing-ready events, publishes these events for Billing and Business Analytics purposes.</p><p>The candidate will be expected to work using her/his own initiative to participate to the development of innovative solutions to meet our functional requirements and our customers’ demands while respecting the corporate Billing Mediation principles and guidelines. Our ideal candidate will be a well-rounded business solution analyst with a rigorous approach to end-to-end solution development, from the requirement gathering and refinement, to its specifications, testing, deployment and validation in production.</p><p></p><p>She/He will also demonstrate curiosity and appetence for human interaction as she/he will have to coordinate with all departments within Amadeus in order to develop the best possible solutions.</p><p>She/He will at the same time play a key role in Amadeus revenues assurance as safeguarding and improving the billing data quality across the company.</p><p></p><h1>Main Responsibilities</h1><p>The candidate will provide inputs, supervise and validate our Delivery Based Service team activities who:</p><ul><li>Write functional requirements to lead development in delivering the expected software evolution.</li><li>Prepare functional tests to validate the software change and include them in the functional regression framework.</li><li>Follow-up on new software results just after load in Production.</li></ul><p></p><p>The candidate will also lead as part of our Revenue Assurance stream with the various teams involved the analysis of incidents, root cause and the implementation of improvements to avoid reoccurrence of the issues.</p><ul><li>Based on high level business requirements, recommend potential solutions to Demand Management and Architecture groups during the feasibility study.</li><li>Advise internal customers on potential solutions.</li><li>Collect and review the detailed business specifications with internal customers.</li></ul><p></p><p>The candidate will provide inputs, supervise and validate our Delivery Based Service team activities who:</p><ul><li>Analyze the detailed impact on existing processes and on the usage of existing tools supporting these processes.</li><li>Define functional requirements of the solution using standard solutions whenever possible.</li><li>Validate detailed functional requirements with internal customers and solution team to ensure that the proposed solution meets their expectations.</li><li>Validate technical requirement with the Internal Business Solution Architect/Developer and support development team during the software implementation.</li><li>Implement and test solution customization.</li><li>Execute end to end functional /regression/performance tests.</li><li>Coordination user acceptance tests.</li><li>Produce user documentation and educational materials to facilitate user understanding and adoption.</li><li>Deliver the agreed solution on-time, within budget and according to specifications.</li><li>Perform the application functional support (customer/production) when requests are received from second level support.</li><li>Propose enhancements to avoid failure and improve performance.</li></ul><p></p><p>As part of our revenue assurance stream the candidate will:</p><ul><li>Cover and coordinate complex end-to-end investigations.</li><li>Report to the stakeholders on the issues and improvement.</li></ul><p></p><h1>Skills &amp; Knowledge – Technical / Functional and Managerial</h1><p>Good knowledge in YAML, JSON and Git</p><p>Good Knowledge in ETL solutions or similar data collection/transformation/publication solutions.</p><p>Good knowledge in data analysis in standard tools (Excel Macros, VBA, Python) to support our analysis and measurements.</p><p>Good Knowledge in Linux, Oracle DB.</p><p>Knowledge on Edifact, Dsc is a plus.</p><p>Measurable experience with – or knowledge of – several of the technologies and concepts listed in the weighted word cloud above.</p><p>Ability to write the documentation that describes what the customer expects of a datacentric engineering middleware system. The documentation typically describes what is needed by the system user as well as requested properties of inputs and outputs. Includes: specifications, user guides, High Level Design documents, interfaces documentation, configuration details.</p><p>Ability to think process wise, to design processes and improve processes. (analytical and conceptual skills).</p><p>
