LPL is seeking a seasoned Vice President II – Network Engineering to lead the strategy, design, and operations of our enterprise network infrastructure. This role requires a visionary leader with deep technical expertise and proven experience in building high-performing teams, driving innovation, and ensuring network availability, resiliency, across multiple data centers and corporate environments.
Leadership & Management
- Build, lead, and mentor a team of 8–10 network engineers and managers.
- Drive talent acquisition, career development, and succession planning.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with senior leadership to align network initiatives with business objectives.
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and resource planning.
Strategy & Architecture
- Define and execute the long-term network strategy, including modernization and automation initiatives.
- Oversee perpetual improvement of network architecture and technologies.
- Research and implement emerging technologies to streamline operations and enhance performance.
Operations & Governance
- Ensure high availability, resiliency, and security of network infrastructure.
- Establish KPIs and reporting for network performance and reliability.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and security standards.
Technical Expertise
- Stay current on networking technologies and industry trends.
- Apply technical knowledge to optimize business processes and efficiencies.
- Oversee operations across multiple data centers and large corporate offices.
- Operationalize and monitor deployed technologies for maximum performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of IT management experience; 10+ years in network engineering roles.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise networking and data center management.
- Expertise in Cisco networking portfolio and related technologies:
- Cisco ACI, SDA/DNAC, Catalyst & Nexus switches
- Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
- Meraki SD-WAN
- Infoblox DDI
- LiveNX, Telemetry, Gigamon
- Preference for experience with Infrastructure as Code and network automation.
Pay Range:
