You must be a dynamic and innovative Manager with experience in implementing and monitoring a variety of HR programs in support of a high-performance culture and diverse workforce. Anticipates and plans for long-term HR needs and trends in partnership with business management. - Supervises the daily activities of support staff or production team members. Does not typically perform the work supervised
- Must have any type of one direct report or more
- Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion; coordinates work activities with other supervisors
- Problem solving is guided by policies and procedures; receives guidance and oversight from manager
- Consistent exercise of discretion & judgment
Essential Functions
- Supervises human resources functional operations, including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, training, employee relations, safety, and compliance.
- Administers human resources programs and policies to reflect the organization's mission and values, support company goals, achieve objectives, and positively engage the workforce.
- Maintains broad and current subject matter knowledge and expertise in federal and state employment laws to advise leadership with solutions for human resources issues and evolving organizational needs.
- Leads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination with concurrence from HR & Senior Leadership.
- Monitors employee development & training programs, assesses needs & results, develops new programs, modifies existing programs & facilitates programs
- Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
- Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree
- Discipline/Major: Human Resources or Business degree preferred
- Additional certifications: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR or SPHR preferred

- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
